In this lesson we will create and develop personas. Personas are a really useful Design Thinking tool to use when we try to create solutions because they help us think of the people we are ultimately designing with, and for. In essence, a persona is a fictional character- we create them based on the synthesised insights we’ve gathered from our research. Personas should reflect the hopes, dreams and needs of the different people you have encountered during the empathise stage, helping you to imagine them at every single stage of the design process/ your project.
Together as a team, we will establish their broad characteristics before developing one or two personas in more detail in smaller sub-teams. Afterwards, we will all meet to present and share our Personas. We can review and check the developed Personas’ credibility and alter details together.
