I'm a creative and active community member in Leitrim. I'm in the committee for the Leitrim International Community Group working on the inclusion and integration of asylum seekers, migrants and refugees. I was a member of the steering committee for the Peace IV Partnership: Minority Groups. The PEACE IV Programme is a cross-border initiative designed to support peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the border regions of Ireland. I'm the secretary and a director for the Leitrim Volunteer Centre. We work to empower communities and groups involved in volunteering. Furthermore, I'm a retail manager for the National Council for the Blind shop in Carrick on Shannon. I'm a social activist as well and represent the migrant community in the Irish Network Against Racism. We're network of over 100 community organizations fighting discrimination and racism in Ireland. I like to give my time to causes that matter to me and the community in Leitrim.
