I work for Louth LEADER Partnership as the Community Development Officer in the Drogheda area under the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP). I see the Innovative Communities programme as a timely opportunity to develop innovative ideas and practices in community settings during a global pandemic.
I have over 30 years of experience working in the Community Development sector. I began my career as a Montessori Teacher, held various roles with Barnardos Traveller Education Project over 13 year period. I also worked as the Community Development Programme Manager for the Ballymun Partnership during the largest regeneration programme in Europe. A graduate of NUIG, I obtained a B.A. (Hons) in Community and Family Studies. In addition, I hold a Masters in Management and Innovation in Social Enterprise.
