I work in Leitrim Development Company as Co-ordinator of the National Social Farming Ireland Programme since 2012.
I have been involved in many community initiatives in my local community Ballinamore, from childcare to drama to sports etc. I am currently a board member of Ballinamore Development Company which is involved currently in the development of a local greenway initiative. The company has a background in the development of local facilities such as a marina and an enterprise centre. I also represent my community on the Leitrim county LCDC Committee. I have a keen interest in rural development in general and making rural Ireland a great place to live with good recreational and career opportunities available to all.
