I grew up on the edge of Ardee Bog. I was horrified when I heard they were going to build a road through the bog, so I did everything I could to find out what was going on and how to stop it. In 2019 I co-founded Friends of Ardee Bog with Anne Lennon.

Grateful that we have this opportunity to come together and learn how best to create a sense of community and reach people who want the bypass and think we're horrible, cranky old ladies.
