Challengers went to a trip to a local youth facility, where challengers presented their Youth Cafe designs to youth workers from three different youth work organisations in the region. Challengers were delighted to find the existing facility met almost all the needs they had identified in a youth space. Youth workers listened to the challenger presentations and asked question about how to improve their services and advertise them better to young people.
The youth workers also gave presentations on the services they had available and the facilities they offered. Challengers then had an hour to explore the space and try out the facilities.
The youth space kept the presentations and posters to use as guidence while further developing the facility and applying for funding.
