This is a follow up on some previous correspondence with some people to invite you to a meeting of the groups, communities and representatives along this proposed rail trail greenway from Dromod /Mohill to Belturbet on Thursday 7th September 2023 at 7.30pm in the Island Theatre/ Community Centre Ballinamore. This is part of the innovating communities programme Home | Innovating Communities and the group based in Fenagh who worked on this will give a presentation and a discussion will follow. We wish to engage with the communities in Dromod Mohill Gorvagh Fenagh Ballinamore Aughawillian Templeport Ballyheadey Ballyconnell and Belturbet with a view to what has happened what is happening and what will happen or needs to happen if the project is to proceed.

Presentation from the Innovating Communities group (Fenagh Based IC Group led by Jennie O Hara / Padraig Leyden)

Input / update from Leitrim Development Company on the overall project. (Emma O Hagan Rural Recreation Officer (RRO) and Brian Smyth)

Discussion on the future and development options for the trail / greenway. (facilitated by Aife Kearns Icecream Architecture / Innovating Communities)

Agreed proposals / Actions (facilitated by Aife Kearns Icecream Architecture / Innovating Communities)
