In this lesson we begin the Define stage of the Design Thinking process. We will look at video and article case studies and analyse insights from these to inform our Challenge focus in the first half of the lesson. In the second half of the lesson, we'll move into the Ideate Stage and imagine outcomes for our project. As our course is condensed, we will not be able to see these materialise before our final lesson, but we can generate concepts and think about what parts we feel will work well for our users/stakeholders, and what other parts may not. This is a key part of the Design Thinking process - putting our Users at the centre of the process and empathising with their experience.
