Hello! I’m Emer, a designer with icecream architecture, and part of the team delivering training with Innovating Communities.
My background is in architecture and communication design; before joining icecream architecture I had a diverse freelance practice spanning graphic and spatial design, creative education and community engagement. I have worked with Cove Park, City of Glasgow College, and Govan Community Project, amongst a range of other charities and third sector organisations.

I am passionate about designing products and services that work for the people that need them - working with the end user to identify challenges and work towards solutions. I'm a firm believer in the power of effective, inclusive communication as part of service delivery - how we connect with our audiences and each other as teams to facilitate the best outcomes for communities.
